New in Noodl 0.9.0 - Page Navigation and States

In 0.9.0 we have added new nodes to support some of the recurring tricky things we run into in our internal projects, namely States and Page navigation. Take a look at the release blog post for more info.

Use state nodes to easily create visual representations of UI states. Connect signals to jump between states.

UNCOMPROMISED DESIGN

Noodl enables designers to create high fidelity interactive experiences with fine tuned animations, interactions and flows. Noodl is flexible, powerful yet simple, and puts the designer in control of all parts of the user experience.

Why we created noodl

Because understanding the actual experience of a concept requires more than simply looking at presentation decks, wireframes or renderings, prototyping needs to be part of our design process from day one.

Successful mobile applications of today require rich motion and well designed interactions. A new breed of design tool was needed to enable rapid iterations of high fidelity, completely interactive prototypes that can be presented to other designers, management, stakeholders, and ultimately passed on to development.

It is fun and fascinating to use Noodl. The tool is great not only for fast and easy design prototyping, but also for collaborating with the engineering team. I highly recommend it for anyone who’s interested in design prototyping.

Noodl allows us to quickly and easily translate our ideas into a user interface that we can actually use! This give us the advantage of pre-defining our interactions before investing into code. Noodl is a huge time saver and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to quickly prototype new design concepts.
